JOB TITLE: Jr. Construction Administrator
DEPARTMENT: Construction Loan Management
REPORTS TO: Construction Loan Management Division Manager

SUMMARY:
Construction Loan Administrators rely on Jr. Administrators to assist with construction and renovation loan management. The Jr. Administrator is responsible for helping the Administrator oversee and manage multiple construction projects in conjunction with multiple Lenders. Because construction projects and Lender policies range and vary in nature, the Jr. Administrator must have the ability to identify specific needs and assignments while exercising sound judgement in carrying them out.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Works directly with an assigned Construction Administrator to set up new loans and upload needed documentation
  • Communicate with Title to receive Title Updates
  • Work within the G.O.S. system to order inspections
  • Review the inspection report and draw request package
  • Run CLM reports within the system
  • Input Draw Request Line Items and Change Orders into the system for Construction Administrator’s final review and approval
  • Understand the construction budget and how it pertains to the construction project
  • Ensure strict confidentiality regarding all business/client matters and documents
  • Track construction project schedules and deadlines
  • Prepare and review required documents for signatures and accuracy
  • Constantly adapt to ever changing Lender guidelines and policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Strong organizational, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of AIA documents, Insurance policies and Title documents
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform multiple assignments without immediate supervision
  • Must have a naturally positive demeanor
  • Familiarity with Construction terminology
  • Comfortable working with Bank executives
  • Ability to problem solve and investigate within company guidelines.
  • Expert in Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written etiquette
